My goal refection....

My goals for this year were…
Social: Become a better friend
Language Arts: become a better writer
Math: listen to the teacher more to succeed and get an A or B.
Social Studies: Try harder
Other: try harder and not fool around
The goals I achieved were Social, Social studies, and Language arts.
But the goals I need to work on in 8th grade are, Math, and Other.
One way I can Archive my goals that I need to work on is actually trying because I will be going to high school and I need my talents to be successful. (:

How to survive 7th Grade......

There are a lot of things you need to know before entering 7th grade. Well first, be organize and responsible. Second Always Be Yourself. That is the most important thing you can do to have a good year. You are probably thinking Oh, I've heard this hundreds of times... but it doesn't mean you won't do it! Many kids get in huge problems when they don't be themselves. Sometimes people think that they can just pretend to be someone they're not, the thing is if you have ever tried that, you will know that if someone finds out that you aren't who you say you are, everyone soon knows, and its very embarrassing!
Always have a small close group of best friends. In that close group of friends, you know you will be able to share everything with them. You will know that a silly little fight won’t ruin your friendships. Hang with each other through thick and thin. If you need to take a break from them (because of a fight, or you just need some chill time), you have other friends who you can be with.
Don't let your Social Life ruin your Academic Life. Too many kids always get too involved with friends or even boys at school, and forget the reason why they are at school, to learn! They get in big fights, and they start to think school as a place for friends to mingle.
Don't be too concerned with what other people think of you. If you try too hard to be popular, all of the preppy snobs who think everyone loves will just laugh at you, and you will be set back even further.
If you care about what people think, don’t change yourself. Take a deep breath and stride into school. Be who you are. Smile. Joke. Play. Laugh. If you're you, you will be liked.
Have fun! Be crazy and weird! You only have one life to live... so live it, and live it good. Make use of every moment you have and be adventurous, happy, and that person that everyone wants to be around because they're so much fun!! Be inspired!
When you hit 7th grade you will be looking fwd to go in 8th grade because you will be the “Head of school” and everyone will know who you are especially the little kids. CPR is very exciting because Ms.Szabo if you play ‘Is this seat taken’ she plays hard core, you might fall down but it fun.

Dear Mom...

Victor Flores
April 14, 2000
 Silao, Mexico

Dear Mom,
Hello Mom I meet some friends and they are pretty cool. Their names are Julio and Miguel. Julio is my age and Miguel is a little bit older than I am. I haven’t really been in a lot of danger except how I feel off of a train and split my head open but I am okay, I got stitches on my head. You know how I told you about Rico leaving? Well I meet up with Rico at the soup kitchen and Rico and I was catching up with things like:
·       How was our travel before we meet up with each other,
·       Strategy’s that we used,
And
·       What Path we took.
It was a crazy travel for me. I never thought I would have done this but I needed to for you, my sisters and especially for Chuy. Enough about me, I have some questions about you and the family.
Well do you still have the goat and the chicken’s mom?
How are my siblings?  How are you Mom?
That’s all the questions I have right now but I will hopefully get a job and bring some pesos home for you guys.

Love,
Your Son Victor
I Will Miss You, Chuy and my sisters too!

What's In My Room?

When I was cleaning my room, I discovered this raunchy, moldy substance and I didn’t know what it was. So I took it upon my self to go to school and take it to the science lab.
I brought the substance to my science teacher and she said “Let’s go check it out!” I followed her into the room with all of the mitrarials that we use in school. She took the microscope out and looks into it and noticed that there was hair on it. So she told me to take a look and I did. What I observed was hair on it and it looked slimy. I found some globes in the room, and I took one so I can touch the substance. And I did. “YUCK!” I yelled. My teacher told me let the substance stay over night. So I did. The next day I went to school and my teacher said “I’ve been researching this and I found out what it was.” I screamed “OMG! Cool. What is it.?” She announced that it was pudding! “Ewww, I remember eating that, It was last Saturday and I couldn’t finnishmy pudding so I throw it on the ground”.

Dear Brenda....

Dear Brenda,

I just got done reading among the hidden and it was really good. It has A LOT of excitement in the book. It also has history in it because it kind of talks about the depression and stuff like what were learning about in social studies. It’s more like action and adventure to me.  I think that you will actually like it. Anyways, there is one girl and her name is Jen, She is just like you, Loud, crazy, and fun to be around. You will actually relate to her. J

St.Josephpht's Basilica. In Milwaukee, WI.

My class and I went on a learning field trip yesterday and I learned a whole LOT about the Lord and his time. One thing that really stayed with me was how long it took to build the magnificent church they have today. It took 4 years to build it and the community help the worker at night. I really recommend to go there   because they have a LOT of neat things, beautiful decorations and REAL gold! My class and I took really beautiful photos of the Basilica and they came out good.! It's located in South side Milwaukee and it's open till 4:30. You should go! :)

1 Timothy 4:12

I feel like I connect to this photo because I think what its saying is "Don't feel alone, God is going to comfort you". That's how I feel when I look at this photo. J

1 Timothy 4:12 Don't let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for the believers in speech, in life, in love, in faith and in purity.

Our Interview with Luke and Mark.

Today on ABC Family were having two very special guest. Their names are Luke and Mark. When Luke was born he was not allowed to go outside without being caught by the population police or even get to see his relatives and Mark is one of his older brothers. So here we go on our interview.....................................

Me:   Luke how did you feel about hiding?

Luke:   Well Ms.Sarson I had jumbled up feeling about that. Well when I was about six I always asked my mom why I have to hide. She always told me it’s for the best.

Me:  When your parents had to give everything away as in your woods, and your hogs how did you feel about that?

Luke:  I knew I couldn't go outside after that. So I started to read books that were in the attic as in my bedroom. All I could really say about that is I was really upset because when Mathew and Mark would be at school I would be in the woods doing whatever I wanted to do.

Me:  Luke that is very interesting. I am very sad about you losing your woods. But I have 6 more questions. Okay?

Luke:  Yes that's very fine of you for asking me 6 more questions and thank you. : )

Me:  Did you think that your neighbor, Jen the 3rd child form the sports family can actually relate to situation that you are in.?

Luke:  What I don't get what your asking.

Me:  What I mean is how you can't go in you living room, your kitchen, on your Dad's computer, go shopping and even in your brothers room?

Luke:  Oh, Alright. Well At times she can but not often because she uses her Fathers computer and I can't use my OWN Fathers computer. She gets to go shopping at the mall. She goes to the living room, kitchen, and even her brother’s room! Why doesn’t my mother and dad let me do things like her.

Me:  I really don't know why your parents won’t let you do things like her. I have NO control over what they do to you.

Luke:  I know. But at least they care a LOT about me to keep me safe.

Me: Yes that's very true. Can we have your brother Mark answer a question?

Luke:  Yes that will be fine. Thank you!

Me:  Hello Mark and I am Brianna.

Mark:  Hello Brianna.

Me:  Well Mark did you ever wanted to be like Luke?

Mark:  Yes, yes I would. (The crowd starts laughing, HAHAHAHAHAHAH!) I always wanted to because I didn't need to go to school, HAHA, No homework, stay home and help Mother and didn’t need to do chores. (Luke stars laughing)

Me:  I Think it's time to let you guys go.

Mark and Luke:  Okay! Thank you for everything!

Me: See you next time on ABC Family. Have a good night and Bye!
